ABOUT THE MTMF
The Myrtle Turner Memorial Fund was set up after the passing of Myrtle to allow those less fortunate in ability to be able to travel to various places that would otherwise be impossible.
This has been achieved through the hard work and dedication of The Turner Family, who spend much of their spare time organising these trips. More than this, these trips are only made possible by fund raising events to help with the costs of what would be an expensive trip for the patrons of the Fund.
The Fund can only provide such trips with the following people, who in their own rights deserve special mentions...
The Doctors
The Nurses
The Volunteers
These special people give up their spare time, and pay their own way, on these trips to ensure that the disabled patrons are cared for and have an enjoyable trip.
If you think this is far fetched then you can look at the Blog page, which gives testimonials of those who have been patrons of such trips. They can tell you what it meant to them.
