Due to work commitments I was unable to attend the Open Evening last Saturday but I understand that it was very well received by all the gentlemen who attended.

A special word of thanks to the Officers that attended from this council, dedication for the good of the order, but have we noticed that the numbers of Brothers attending our own Council meetings has dwindled over the last couple of months? Has anyone asked why we have 40 members in our council and we only get 14/15 Brothers each month?

I understand that due to work commitments some Brothers are unable to attend every month but maybe we could arrange for some of those Brothers who are unable to attend the meetings to be brought by regular attendees each month.

I have spoke at length with some Brothers who work every month and they have expressed an interest in holding the meetings on a Saturday, something that we trialled once last year, maybe if we could consider this maybe twice a year and look out for those who are unable to make their way to meetings.
